OUR STORIES

Our journey starts in 2011 with a six-month video campaign for lots of pizza in one of the minis and through the summer. It went across Germany and Europe, the destination being YouTube and Facebook. And our co-founders Kim and Maxime as protagonists in the story, community and W&V reporting included and the social hero pizza.de - social video here we come. There was still Studi-VZ.


In cooperation with Pizza.de and Factor 3

2012 next stop European Football Championship with Maxi Gstettenbauer and Thorsten Bär as competitors against Nivea Men on YouTube. In ten episodes we take the audience on a journey to Poland and show how a competition within a competition can lead to various appearances on classic TV , unpaid of course.

2016 Move to the new Redpinata headquarters in Hamburg Ottensen.

A new home for our management, development, editorial and creation teams is being built on 900 square meters.


Our own studios for image and sound as well as a workshop for precision engineering and set construction make us faster and more effective.


The idea of a holistic media agency with production as a media house is now also visible spatially and with the courtyard and the TBA to the bar, we have a location for our #redbiernata, as well as the first video momentum as a satellite event of the Social Media Week.

2015 global video content budget of Yuneec Aviation based in China, Europe and the USA. A global campaign spread is designed and implemented at record speed. It ranges from product videos and tutorials to image films, e-commerce videos and social media clips.

In 2016 we launched the world's first interactive Facebook Live game for the start of the season of The Walking Dead. We use the reactions on Facebook to give the audience control over the scenario and the two protagonists.


In cooperation with Attention! Hamburg

In 2016, Emilia Schüle and her sister went to Chile, Patagonia to realize the German contribution to an international documentary series. It's about educating people about climate change and the effects that can be clearly seen in the ice here. Rating: Formative for everyone involved.


In 2016 we launched on YouTube together with Fressnapf and designed and realized help and hub videos for the animal-friendly cat community. Finally arrived - we make professional cat videos on the Internet.


In 2015, together with Emilia Schüle, Toni Garrn and Wolken Hegenbarth, we were able to support the idea of #girlsgetequal for equal pay as a video campaign, which was natural to us - but was just emerging elsewhere.


In cooperation with Plan International

In 2018, we took over the Bundeswehr's pioneering project and realized the first documentary series with cinematic standards and a female main protagonist for the online community on YouTube. In the use of enlightenment.


In collaboration with Castenow and Crossmedia


In 2015 we are going live for World Breast Cancer Day with an interactive social talk show. The audience becomes part of the show - viewers can share and discuss their questions directly on Facebook with the community and our discussion group.

2020 Founding of ONE SBN, the network behind the first live social TV channel in Hamburg and the partner branch in Munich. During the Corona crisis, the Redpinata philosophy became a virtue and offered many cultural workers a digital stage at a time when analogues had to remain closed.

2020 Move to the new location of Redpinata GmbH in the Speicherstadt in the Hafencity Hamburg. You will find us here in a modernized quay warehouse that was prepared by the creative society HH for the local media pioneers in order to stand for exchange and Hamburg as a media location of the future. Here we sit together with our network of ONE Social-Broadcasting Network (SBN) alongside the Virtual Reality Headquarters (VRHQ) and the Nextmedia Accelerator.

In 2021 a new office location in the Schanze - in the old piano factory "Piano Forte", together with our new collective around Isa Daur and Ann-Katrin Schmitz and the motion design collective Looping Lovers. The perfect place to escape from your home office and come over for a coffee and let your thoughts flow together in enough space with desks, meeting rooms and kitchens to finally do justice to the topic of “influencers and collaborations”.

Since 2022, we have been supporting the start-up VRTKL (including Till Jagla, Tobias Grimm) with live streaming, live shopping, live and on-demand production processes, studio construction and various topics that are relevant to the creation of a new station are.

Since 2023 we have built a new studio in Hafencity Hamburg for all content topics. In the studio we can produce podcasts including video, live shopping, multicam shows, virtual production, green screen and social media. A solution for many things and for us a location with a lot of potential for all kinds of customer inquiries and needs. “RecGround” stands for Playground. A place to try out and develop.

Almost twelve years of Redpinata have been lived and told to date.


The market for video content has developed as we predicted after the first early project experiences. Back when people were still “creepy” on StudiVZ and there was no name for these “videos on the internet”.


When promotional videos couldn't be completely ignored by a slowly cultivating audience. When films were only watched on TV or in the cinema. When highlights from a good video were still at the end of the dramaturgy and there were no vlogs or AR/VR or Minecraft and Fortnite. - Gimbals. Drones. Mirrorless cameras. Stories and filters. Or virtual production ðŸĪĐ


We continue moving towards the future and are happy about everyone who shares our path, whether only in spirit or at our side. We always have the feeling that it's just now getting started.
